Refined Flour (Maida) - 2 cup
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Ripe Kerala Banana - 6 (Do not use too riped bananas)
Sugar-5 to 6 tbsp OR as per your taste
Salt - a pinch
Oil - for frying (Coconut or Sunflower oil)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Method:
- Prepare the batter by mixing maida, rice flour, sugar, salt, turmeric powder by adding 2 cups and little more water.
- Mix them well with your hands or whip with a blender to a medium consistency.
- Check the sugar. Make it more or less as per your taste.
- The batter should be thicker than dosa batter.
- Peel and cut the banana into small sizes as per your choice. I have divided into four long slice and then made half of it.
- Heat oil in medium flame.
- Then dip each banana slice into the batter and carefully put it into the hot oil.
- Oil should not be too hot.Otherwise banana will burn as soon as we dip the banana into the oil.
- You can fry 4-5 pieces at a time depend on the size of your kadai or banana slices.
- Fry both sides till it becomes crisp and light golden in color..
- Drain excess oil using a strainer then transfer them into a kitchen tissue to remove excess oil.
- Enjoy your Pazham pori with hot tea.
